Most of you must know that the World Diabetes Day 2008 takes place this Friday.

Did you alaso know that over 70,000 children a year are diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes a year. This is the whole world - just not the Americas!!!

Scary stuff I say.

Check out the link below (hopefully you can click on the link - I'm new to pasting links in a forum). At this website if you have the time you'll learn more about this important day. I plan on putting blue ballons on my antenna that day - and stick to driving the side roads - to spread the word. Also, you may find something in your community that you can join up to at the link below ...
