Having diabetes isn't easy, but when you have a dog for a pet. Your sugar blood levels will be down. You will be healthier mentally. You will be less lonely and less nervous for companionship. Your blood pressure will be lower, You will laugh and smile more. You will have fewer health problems. Your will want to exercise more with your dog. So go to a dog rescue and adopt an dog or a cat.

I agree with you on having a pet (I have a few cats).  It's been proven for any one with/without a health problem - that it can help lower blood pressure, etc, etc.  The only time tho' I have to admit - maybe my stress level goes up when once or twice my cat has snagged it's claws into my tummy (nice a cushy for her kneading time).  If my infusion set is right where her claw(s) go into - urrrhhhh!  Other then that - wouldn't trade my furballs be they dog, cat, ferret for a $$$$$$$$$$4 dollars!
